I’m a national newspaper and magazine journalist of more than 25 years’ experience, currently working for three days a week as a features writer on the Daily Telegraph.
Starting out on magazines including Cosmopolitan and New Woman (RIP), I then hacked it for several years at the Daily Mail and Sunday Mirror before heading back to glossies and the launches of GLAMOUR and Grazia. After having two babies I became editor of Mother & Baby, where I was twice nominated for a British Society of Magazine Editors award.
Now a freelance writer and editor, I cover a wide variety of topics, with an interest in health, both mental and physical. I am a regular contributor to the Telegraph newspapers, magazines, and online, where I wrote a weekly column called Insomnia Diaries. I also interview people with interesting stories to tell, and write ‘opinion pieces’. I’ve recently been published in titles as diverse as the Spectator, the Jewish Chronicle and the New York Post.
In June 2021, I started writing a column for the JC.
My freelance CV includes: The Telegraphs: Daily and Sunday, Stella, Telegraph Magazine, Guardian, iNews, Daily Mail, Mail On Sunday, Daily Mirror, Sun, Express, GLAMOUR, You, Red, Woman & Home, Fit & Well, Hello!, Woman’s Journal, Just 17, Brides, Camden New Journal, and… Competitors’ World.
I worked as a freelance editor on the Saturday Telegraph Review of the Year, 2020: Remembering the Year to Forget.
I am also on the committee of The Guild of Health Writers.
